Matilde Sambo
By employing a variety of mediums—including video, sculpture, sound, performance, and drawing— Matilde Sambo constructs intricate narratives that unfold and interact with the surrounding space. The body, whether human or animal/non-human, is the core around which her works develop, forming complex threads that intertwine reflections on human evolution, the relationship between the body and the environment, sensory perception, and the interplay between instinct and rationality.
