Edoardo Manzoni

Edoardo Manzoni (Crema, 1993) lives and works in Milan. His research develops from the rural context in which he grew up and which has always influenced his work. The rural world and the imagery linked to it stimulate interest in the relationship between the natural and the artificial, the human and the animal. His artistic practice, based on a process of continuous recovery and re-elaboration of objects and materials, draws on various media such as sculpture, painting and installation, often seeking a dialogue with the world of crafts. 

His works have been exhibited in different places including: PAV, Turin (2022); Vin Vin, Wien (2022); The Address, Brescia (2022); Art Noble, Milan (2021); State Of, Milan (2020); Fondazione Antonio Ratti, Como (2019); Triennale, Milan (2017); Spazio MenoUno, Treviglio (2017); Sonnenstube, Lugano (2016); Fondazione Pini, Milan (2016). Since 2017 he participates in Altalena, an indipendent curatorial project. In 2018 Edoardo founded Residenza La Fornace, inviting many artists to enter into dialogue and confront themselves with his family farm where he was brought up and where still today he develops his artistic research.
